My love for lace has existed for a very long time. I've always admired intricate and delicate things from embroidery to beading, which probably explains why I'm such a fan of lace. When shopping I not only have a tendency to walk straight to anything lace, but I also tend to buy quite a lot of lace products whether it be a top or a dress (you can never have too much lace in your wardrobe I like to think).
There is a reason why season after season lace appears on catwalks from London to Paris, that being that there is so much that can be done to lace. When you think of lace, a variety of things spring to mind from the Royals' grand wedding gowns (K-Mid and Grace Kelly's are a firm favourite of mine) to lace in festival season. The fact that you can associate it with so many different things demonstrates how versatile lace is. The mountain of never ending possibilities with lace means that I constantly remain excited by what designers/ retailers have to offer each season. And this summer they haven't let me down…
This pretty, feminine lace jacket by H&M, is one of my favourite products currently on the market. The cut and the style makes it a wardrobe staple and something that definitely won't date any time soon.
